$7 / session, open drop-in hours every Wednesday and Sunday.
For any writer who wants to write with others.
No pressure, no prerequisites, and no prior experience required! WW's Creative Circle meets every Wednesday and Sunday (so long as sign-ups occur!) for two full hours. You can join in at any time during the 2 hour block, and stay for exactly as much time as you need!
Come to write something fresh and new or make progress on a long-term project, celebrate your success with other young writers in the chat, and leave with a stellar prompt or reading recommendation to further inspire you!
What to expect:
A creative prompt to get you started.
Every session opens with a warm-up prompt that stays on the board for the full two hours, so you can dive in whenever you arrive.
Dedicated writing time.
Regardless of how busy the school semester becomes, you'll always have a time and a place to write.
Optional success sharing.
We'll have time at the end of the block for you to raise your hand and share your wins out loud! You can also post what you got done in the chat, or simply keep your secrets, as Frodo would say.
A literary freebie!
Each session closes with a powerful writing prompt, story, poem, or piece of art to mull over during the coming days! Think of this as a little take-home treat, something to inspire you between sessions.
Drop in whenever you can make it. $7 per session, no subscription, no commitment. Come once or come every time, you'll be welcomed in with open arms!
Open to enthusiastic writers from K–12th grade. Parents, if you want to join in on the fun, you are more than welcome to!
