Wordplay Wisdom began as a labor of love between mother and daughter—sparked by a shared passion for words and stories. Inspired by years spent searching for engaging, empowering spaces for young writers, I co-founded this creative hub with my mother, Stephanie Surles. Being raised by a talented middle-grade fiction writer shaped me as an artist and as a teacher.
Today, as the founder of Wordplay Wisdom, I carry forward our shared mission: to help young writers find joy in self-expression, and ensure everyone's story has the support necessary to be heard and shared. I’m excited to support your family’s journey to nurture confidence, creativity, and courage through creative writing!
