How It Works:
Message anytime. No fitting a booking into your packed schedule, no countdown to the next session, just an open opportunity to get questions off you and your young writer's minds and into your indexed, private, personal channel. I answer with the same care and attention I'd bring to a live conversation.
Every message starts with a quick tag telling me what kind of help is needed, and one specific question. Naming the exact issue allows me to give a sharper answer, personalized to your young writer's goals and their unique voice.
Video is preferred, but always optional. I usually answer in video too, so y'all get all the benefits of a face to face conversation. Text is completely fine if video isn't possible on any given day.
What This Isn't:
I don't work on school essays, college essays, or with reluctant writers. This is for young writers who already love words and want to work with a mentor who takes their craft seriously.

I have been teaching creative writing since I was in middle school. I remember well how it felt to be an eager young writer handed vague praise instead of a real reading, and from the very start, my teaching has focused on making sure young creatives are truly heard and seen.
Every lesson I teach is written for one writer, one project, and one moment in their development. Nothing is pulled from standardized curriculum, because a curriculum cannot know your young writer.
