Give your young writer constant access to creative support, any hour, any day, anywhere.

After years of teaching creative writing to gifted kids and teens, I've learned their best ideas rarely show up on a schedule. They show up on the drive home from soccer practice, or mid-homework, or five minutes before lights out. They think quickly, in unbounded leaps, and a scheduled weekly session sometimes can't catch up to them. An always-open coaching channel can.
Wordplay Wisdom's Asynchronous Coaching Program gives you and your young writer a private 1:1 coaching channel with me, open 24/7, ready for whenever an idea strikes, a question arises, or writer's block stifles their voice. I answer thoughtfully and thoroughly, with personalized guidance based on my own experience as a writer, editor, and teaching artist. This is mentorship on the move.
Full pricing transparency, always.
A direct line to me, open any hour, any day.
All your questions stored in your private channel for easy reference.
A ClarityFlow account, for easy access to your private channel on any web browser and on their app.
True mentorship: personalized guidance built around your writer's specific moment of creative development.
Bespoke resources: thoughtful exercises, lessons, and creative strategies built for specific young writers.
Send up to three pages of writing for context with any question.
For Critique Tier only: Send up to five pages of writing per month for in-depth developmental and line editing.
How It Works:
Message anytime. No fitting a booking into your packed schedule, no countdown to the next session, just an open opportunity to get questions off you and your young writer's minds and into your indexed, private, personal channel. I answer with the same care and attention I'd bring to a live conversation.
Every message starts with a quick tag telling me what kind of help is needed, and one specific question. Naming the exact issue allows me to give a sharper answer, personalized to your young writer's goals and their unique voice.
Video is preferred, but always optional. I usually answer in video too, so y'all get all the benefits of a face to face conversation. Text is completely fine if video isn't possible on any given day.
What This Isn't:
I don't work on school essays, college essays, or with reluctant writers. This is for young writers who already love words and want to work with a mentor who takes their craft seriously.
I don't provide live calls for asynchronous coaching. My live 1:1 bespoke mentorship program is currently full, but you can always join the waitlist here: wordplaywisdom.com/mentorship-waitlist
Founder and mentor.
The first homeschooled National Student Poet and one of twenty U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts. Graduated from Princeton with High Honors in 2025 and received the Joyce Carol Oates Award for poetry and prose.
I have been teaching creative writing since I was in middle school. I remember well how it felt to be an eager young writer handed vague praise instead of a real reading, and from the very start, my teaching has focused on making sure young creatives are truly heard and seen.
Every lesson I teach is written for one writer, one project, and one moment in their development. Nothing is pulled from standardized curriculum, because a curriculum cannot know your young writer.
