How to Critique Your Young Writers' Work

This course is designed for young writers and those who support young writers. Subjects covered include what critiques are (and are not!), how critiques can help young authors become better writers, and how those with no critiquing experience can provide constructive, meaningful feedback to their young writer.

How Your Library Can Make You a Stronger Writer

This course is designed for young readers and writings and those who support young readers and writers, with plenty of tips for helping the whole family to deeply enjoy the library. Subjects covered include what incredible in-person and online resources your library might offer, how the library can serve as a community meeting space in countless ways, tips and tricks for making library use easier, and a few crucial ways to support the libraries near you.

Fun with Fan Fiction

Does your child have a story universe they want to explore but they aren’t sure where to start? Are they filled with so many story ideas that they have trouble capturing them all? Do they want to expand their shorter fanfic pieces into more detailed stories? This class is perfect for the imaginative student who wants to learn new skills and techniques and share their work with other supportive writers.
